First Official Remix!

April 30th, 2011

The 17th of April 2011 will go down in history as the day my first OFFICIAL remix dropped. (*applause, confetti dropping from the sky*) Well over a year ago, Ali B of Air Recordings reached out to me about doing a remix for one of the tracks on DJ Love’s album. Turns out that myself, A-Skillz, Nick Thayer, and Fort Knox Five all thought “Zigga Zigga” featuring Geechi Suede of Camp Lo was the joint that needed to be touched. A year later and here we are.

Check the Soundcloud player below to hear the original and all the remixes, go to Juno to buy it (where you can find the release still sitting in the top 10 of their best sellers chart), and come out to Fabric in London on Friday, May 27th to hear me rocking with Ali B, Fort Knox Five & A-Skillz.

Senor Kaos & DJ Eleven

April 19th, 2011

At the end of last summer, I was working on The Mulligans and reached out to Señor Kaos about doing a verse for one of the beats I was working on.  Not only did he do that first verse, he went back & recorded a second verse, put it on his “Señor Kaos Is The Most Interesting MC In The World!” project, and now has a video for the joint too.  Well gotdam!

You can check out the video, grab the song, and read the long version of how it all came to pass in Kaos’ own words right here.

Make sure you check out TheKaosEffect.com and grab “The Most Interesting MC In The World!”
